News Release April 1, 2011 Former Deputy City Marshal for West Monroe Arrested
Louisiana State Police Detectives conducted an investigation into thefts of fine money from the West Monroe City Marshal's Office. The investigation revealed that Kelly R. Johnson (w/f 31 yoa) stole $41,698.00 in fine money from the city. The thefts occurred from 2007 to 2011.
Johnson surrendered this morning to LSP Detectives and was booked at the Ouachita Parish Correctional Center for theft, malfeasance in office, and injuring public records.
