TROOP F NEWS RELEASE May 30, 2013 Troopers Discover Marijuana and Cocaine During I-20 Traffic Stop West Monroe, LA- This morning, a state trooper assigned to Louisiana State Police Troop F stopped a 2005 Ford F150 for a traffic violation on Interstate 20 eastbound west of West Monroe in Ouachita Parish which lead to the discovery of marijuana and cocaine in the vehicle. Troopers, along with K-9 “Senda,” located approximately 60 pounds of marijuana and 6 pounds of cocaine in the vehicle with an estimated street value of $365,000. The driver, 47-year-old Ella Davis of Conroe, TX, was charged with following to close, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, conspiracy to distribute marijuana and conspiracy to distribute cocaine. The passenger, 24-year-old IC Galveston of Cleveland, TX, was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, conspiracy to distribute marijuana and conspiracy to distribute cocaine. Davis and Galveston were booked into Ouachita Parish Correctional Center.
