| News Release – Region 2 May 22, 2012 Monroe Man Arrested For Possession of Child Pornography As a result of the tireless efforts of the Louisiana State Police Bureau of Investigations to protect children from online child exploitation, detectives have arrested a Monroe man for possession of child pornography. On May 22, 2012, state police detectives arrested Noah Patrick May (W/M age 24) of Monroe, Louisiana on charges of possession of child pornography. The arrest was the result of an investigation that started in April. On May 21, 2012, detectives obtained a search warrant for May’s residence. During the search of the residence a laptop was found and was identified as the computer used to download the pornography involving juveniles. The computer seized was owned by Noah P. May. May confessed to downloading the pornographic images and videos involving juveniles with the computer. May was charged with possession of pornography involving juveniles and booked in Ouachita Parish Jail.
