Edmonson, Superintendent News Release April 23, 2012 Continuing Franklin Parish Investigation Yields a Dozen Arrests The ongoing methamphetamine investigation in Franklin and Tensas Parishes has resulted in a dozen arrests today in Franklin Parish. During the continuing joint investigation by the Louisiana State Police Criminal Investigations Division (Monroe Field Office), Franklin Parish Sheriff’s Office and Tensas Parish Sheriff’s Office into the March murder of Colby Fortenberry in Tensas Parish and the ensuing arrests of Robert Welch, Eunice Welch and Todd Crockett on narcotics-related charges this month, twelve more people have been arrested. As a result of these cases, investigators uncovered a parish-wide methamphetamine distribution network and arrest warrants were executed earlier today by Louisiana State Police and Franklin Parish Sheriff’s Office. Arrested were:
