Tensas Man Arrested for Possession of Illegal Video Poker Devices

On September 27, 2012, the Louisiana State Police Bureau of Investigations and the Tensas Parish Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant on the premises R & B Lounge in Newellton, Louisiana. The warrant is the result of an ongoing investigation into the alleged use of unauthorized video draw poker devices.

Several unauthorized video draw poker devices were located at R & B Lounge during a search of the premises. The manager and operator of R & B Lounge, 60 year old Rickey L. Brown of Newellton, was arrested and charged with possession of unauthorized video draw poker devices.

If convicted, Brown could face up to 10 years in prison and a $10,000 fine.
