NEWS RELEASE- Region 2 September 30, 2012 West Monroe Man Arrested for Possession of Child Pornography On September 26, 2012, investigators assigned to the Louisiana State Police Bureau of Investigations conducted a search warrant at the residence of 24-year old Daniel A. Dadgar of West Monroe. The warrant was the result of an investigation initiated by State Police detectives involving child pornography on Dadgar’s computer. 12 grams of marijuana, 4 clonazepam pills and a large assortment of drug paraphernalia were also found during the execution of the warrant. A search of Dadgar’s computer revealed the presence of images of sexually abused children. Dadgar was arrested for possession of child pornography, possession of marijuana and schedule 4 narcotics with intent to distribute. Dadgar was booked in Ouachita Parish Jail. If convicted on all charges, Dadgar faces up to a $75,000 fine and up to 25 years in prison.
