A joint investigation into the deaths of three Oak Grove residents has resulted in the arrests of six individuals. The investigation, conducted by the Louisiana State Police, State Fire Marshall, West Carroll Sheriff's Office, and the Oak Grove Police, stems from a house fire that occurred on October 14, 2008 at 218 Bonaire Dr in Oak Grove and claimed the lives of three people. The victims of that fire are Devin Christmas (4 year old), Derrick Davis (17 years old), and Tiffany Davis (19 years old).
On October 15, 2008 LSP Detective’s arrested Marcus Jones, an 18 year old Oak Grove man, and charged him with Conspiracy to commit Aggravated Arson. Investigators continued their investigations which lead to the arrests of five other people.

On Friday October 17, 2008 LSP Detectives arrested the following people:

Nicholas Hullaby, 19 years old from Oak Grove
Joe Nathan Smith, 19 years old from Oak Grove
Eldrick Smith, 18 years old from Oak Grove
Hurk Harris, 32 years old from Lake Providence
and a 15 year old juvenile male (name withheld), previously from Las Vegas, NV
