News Release October 12, 2008 Double Fatality Crash in Madison Parish
On October 12, 2008 at about 5:00 am, Louisiana State Police Troop F Troopers investigated a one vehicle crash which resulted in the death of the driver and his passenger. The crash occurred on US Hwy 80 at milepost 165 in Madison Parish. A 2002 Pontiac Grand Am was traveling westbound when, for unknown reasons, the vehicle ran off the left side of the road and entered a ditch. The Pontiac then struck a tree and came to rest.
The driver, identified as 22 year old Milton E. Jones Jr from Delhi, and his passenger, identified as 22 year old Christopher D. Dunn from Delhi, was pronounced dead at the scene by the Madison Parish Coroner's Office.
They were not wearing their seat belts at the time of the crash. Alcohol use is unknown and toxicology tests are pending.
In 2008, Louisiana State Police Troop F Troopers have investigated forty-one (41) fatal crashes resulting in forty-six (46) deaths. For More Information, Contact:
