Serious Injury Crash in Caldwell Parish |

News Release January 9, 2009 Serious Injury Crash In Caldwell Parish A Caldwell Parish woman is seriously injured in an afternoon crash. The crash occurred on LA 126 in Caldwell Parish on January 8, 2009 at about 4:40 pm.
A 1995 Kenworth was traveling west on LA 126 when it struck a 2004 Chevrolet car in the area of the drivers door. The Chevrolet had been traveling on LA 3239 and the driver failed to yield from the stop sign and pulled into the path of the Kenworth.
The driver of the Chevrolet, identified as 35 year old Angela Bryant from Grayson, LA was air lifted to the LSU-Shreveport hospital with life threatening injuries.
The driver of the Kenworth, identified as 43 year old Johnnie Hamilton, was not injured in the crash.
Alcohol use is not suspected as a factor in this crash. Bryant was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash and she has been cited for Failure to Yield from a Stop Sign.
