News Release December 5, 2008 Unrestrained Driver Dies in Ouachita Parish Crash
On December 5, 2008 at about 1:10 am, Louisiana State Police Troop F Troopers investigated a one vehicle crash that resulted in the death of a Monroe man. The crash occurred on LA 15 at milepost 137 in Ouachita Parish. A 2006 Chevrolet Silverado truck was traveling south on LA 15 when, for unknown reasons, the driver lost control of the vehicle and ran off the left side of the roadway. After leaving the roadway, the Chevrolet struck a tree and came to rest. The driver, identified as 27 year old Clinton Droesser from Monroe, was pronounced dead at the scene by the Ouachita Parish Coroner's Office.
Droesser was not wearing his seat belt at the time of the crash. Alcohol use is unknown and routine toxicology tests are pending.
In 2008, Louisiana State Police Troop F Troopers have investigated forty-five (45) fatal crashes resulting in fifty-one (51) deaths. For More Information, Contact:
