Troopers Play Santa for Area Families

The Louisiana State Police Troop F Troopers are getting into the Christmas spirit this holiday season and trying to make a difference in the lives of some needy families. This year, the Troop F affiliate of the Louisiana State Troopers Association has adopted six area families and will be providing Christmas gifts to children who might otherwise not have a merry Christmas. On Tuesday December 23rd, starting at about 1:00 pm, troopers will caravan from Troop F to the homes of these families and deliver the gifts. Troopers will also deliver food to several of the areas elderly residents.

This is all made possible from generous donations received from Mr. Bunzie Bryant and Mr. Mike Perry, of Perry and Sons. Mr. Bryant and Mr. Perry have supported the Troop F Troopers efforts in giving back to the communities in which they live and work.
