Edmonson, Superintendent News Release Date: July 14, 2010 Serious Injury Crash In Lincoln Parish, State Police Need Help Monday afternoon, a crash involving two vehicles, left a man from Grambling with serious injuries. Troopers responded to the crash around 12:55 pm, which occurred on US Hwy 80 at Rogers Road. During the course of the investigation it has been determined that an unknown vehicle was passing in a no passing zone when the 2001 Nissan Sentra, driven by James Jackson (B/M 95 yrs), was forced off the road. After exiting the right side of the roadway, the Nissan reentered US Hwy 80 and exited the left side before colliding with two trees. There was no contact between the vehicles. The only information that is currently available, on the vehicle that fled the scene, is that it is a black SUV. **Anyone with knowledge or information regarding this crash is asked to call Louisiana State Police Troop F (318-345-0000). Jackson was transported to Lincoln General Hospital with serious injuries. The crash remains under investigation.
