Joint Investigation Nets Numerous Arrests

A joint investigation involving the Louisiana State Police and the Lincoln Parish Narcotics Enforcement Team (LPNET) has resulted in the arrest of eleven people for various narcotics charges in Lincoln Parish.

Early this morning, law enforcement officers from the Louisiana State Police, the Lincoln Parish Narcotics Enforcement Team, the Ruston Police Department, and the Grambling Police Department simultaneously served two search warrants and arrested eleven people in Lincoln Parish for various drug charges. The arrests follow nearly a yearlong joint investigation.

The following people were arrested and booked at the Lincoln Parish Detention center for the listed charges:

1. Lynda Williams (46 years old from Grambling)-one count of Conspiracy to Distribute Crack Cocaine (Bond-$17,500)
2. Shenita Hardyway (30 years old from Grambling)-two counts Distribution of Crack Cocaine and one count of Conspiracy to Distribute Crack Cocaine (Bond-$43,000)
3. Michael Standifer (44 years old from Dubach)-one count of Distribution of Crack Cocaine (Bond-$5,000)
4. Gerald Mamon (42 years old from Simsboro)-two counts of Distribution of Crack Cocaine, one count of Conspiracy to Distribute Crack Cocaine and Possession of Marijuana. (Bond-$45,000+)
5. Elzie Thompson Jr (59 years old from Ruston)-three counts of Distribution of Cocaine (Bond-$10,000)
6. Priscilla Butler (45 years old from Simsboro)-five counts of Distribution of Crack Cocaine, two counts of Conspiracy to Distribute Crack Cocaine, and one count of Distribution of Crack Cocaine in the presence of a minor (Bond-$105,000)
7. Jonny Ray Reed (40 years old from Grambling)-one count of Distribution of Crack Cocaine and one count of Conspiracy to Distribute Crack Cocaine (Bond-$35,000)
8. Lorenzo Ligon (36 years old from Grambling)-two counts of Distribution of Crack Cocaine, one count of Conspiracy to Distribute Crack Cocaine and one count of Distribution within 1000 feet of a school zone.(Bond-$70,000)
9. Nathaniel Lacy Jr (56 years old from Grambling)-one count of Distribution of Crack Cocaine (Bond-$15,000)
10. Anna Marie Wharton (from Ruston)-one count of Distribution of Crack Cocaine, Distribution of Schedule IV Alprazolam and Possession of Marijuana (Bond-$20,000+)
11. Garrett Hill (52 years old from Grambling)-five counts of Distribution of Crack Cocaine, one count of Distribution of Hydrocodone, one count of Conspiracy to Distribute Crack Cocaine and one count of Conspiracy to Distribute Hydrocodone (Bond-$45,000)

It is the mission of all the law enforcement agencies involved to rid our communities of narcotics. Anyone using or dealing narcotics will be identified and prosecuted.

LPNET is comprised of members from the Lincoln Parish Sheriff’s Office, the Ruston Police Department and the Lincoln Parish District Attorney’s Office.
