Ruston Earlier today, Louisiana State Police Detectives arrested a Ruston man for charges related to sex crimes. The initial investigation began on May 12, 2019, when Louisiana State Police Detectives were contacted by the Lincoln Parish Sheriff’s Office in reference to a complaint involving one of their correctional officers, 35-year-old Christopher Sparks.

As a result of the investigation, Detectives placed Sparks under arrest on May 14th. He was charged with Sexual battery (1 count) and Molestation of a juvenile (1 count).
