TROOP F NEWS RELEASE June 29, 2021 Troopers Seek Assistance in Locating Hit and Run Vehicle Ouachita Parish — On June 20, 2021, Troopers responded to a serious injury hit and run crash involving a pedestrian, that occurred on U.S. Hwy 165, just north of Ouachita Christian School. Troopers are asking for assistance in locating the suspect vehicle. Shortly before 6:30 a.m., Troopers from Louisiana State Police Troop F received a call, in reference to a person laying in the median, of U.S. Hwy 165. Upon arrival, it was determined the pedestrian was struck by a vehicle as he was walking along the highway. After impact, the driver of the vehicle drove away from the scene. Troopers are asking for assistance in locating a black Chrysler passenger car that should have damage to the left front area.
