REGION 3 NEWS RELEASE August 22, 2014 Tallulah Man Arrested For Child Porn MADISON PARISH - On August 22, 2014, investigators with the Louisiana State Police Bureau of Investigations, the Madison Parish Sheriff’s Office and the Federal Bureau of Investigation arrested 42-year-old Timothy Hasty of Tallulah for possession of pornography involving juveniles. The arrest was the result of an investigation that started in May. Investigators determined Hasty was the person responsible for downloading child pornography. During questioning, Hasty admitted to downloading child pornography. As part of the investigation, detectives seized Hasty’s computer for forensic analysis. Hasty was booked into the Madison Parish Jail. His was bond was set at $10,000. If convicted, Hasty faces up to a $50,000 fine and from five to twenty years in prison without benefit of parole, probation, or suspension of sentence.
