TROOP F NEWS RELEASE July 3, 2015 California Woman Killed in Two-Vehicle Crash Madison Parish – An overnight crash claimed the life of a woman from California. Shortly before 2:30 a.m., on July 3, 2015, Troopers from Louisiana State Police Troop F responded to a two-vehicle fatal crash that occurred on Interstate 20 approximately 5 miles west of the town of Tallulah. This crash took the life of 26-year-old Marsadis Daise of Long Beach, California. The initial investigation by State Police revealed Daise was driving a 2015 Chevrolet Impala east on I-20. A 2005 Kenworth 18-wheeler, driven by 41-year-old Miguel Median of Rocky Face, Georgia, was traveling east in front of the Impala when the Impala struck the rear of the Kenworth for unknown reasons. After impact the vehicle Daise was driving caught fire and was completely destroyed. A toxicology sample was obtained from Daise and will be submitted for analysis. Median submitted to an Intoxilyzer test and the results indicated there was no alcohol in his system. In 2015, Troop F has investigated 22 fatal crashes resulting in 24 deaths.
