TROOP F NEWS RELEASE February 18, 2014 Troopers Discover Cocaine During Traffic Stop in Richland Parish Rayville, LA- This morning, a state trooper assigned to Louisiana State Police Troop F stopped a 2004 Nissan Altima for a traffic violation on Interstate 20 eastbound west of Rayville in Richland Parish which lead to the discovery of cocaine in the vehicle. Troopers, along with K-9 “Senda,” located approximately 2.2 pounds of cocaine in the vehicle with an estimated street value of $79,000. The driver, 34-year-old Carl Frazier Jr. of Waterproof, LA, was charged with improper lane use and possession of cocaine with intent to distribute. Frazier faces up to a $600,000 and 30 years in prison if convicted. Frazier was booked into the Richland Parish Detention Center.
