Kentucky Woman Killed in Madison Parish Crash

Tallulah, LA- A Kentucky woman died yesterday after the vehicle she was in rear-ended an 18-wheeler on Interstate 20.

Shortly before 6:25 p.m., on December 3, 2015, Troopers assigned to Louisiana State Police Troop F responded to a two-vehicle fatality crash on Interstate 20 just west of Tallulah. The preliminary investigation revealed a 2008 12-passenger Ford Van driven by 45-year-old Thomas Hall of Louisville, KY was traveling west on I-20 in the inside lane of travel. For unknown reasons, Hall changed lanes into the outside lane and struck the trailer of a 2004 Freightliner 18-wheeler driven by Santiago Crombet-Falcon of Hialeah, FL.

After impact, the front seat passenger in the Ford Van, 43-year-old Kimberly Hall of Louisville, KY was killed on impact and pronounced dead at the scene by the Madison Parish Coroner’s Office. Six additional occupants in the van were transported to local hospitals with minor injuries. The driver of the 18-wheeler was not injured during this crash.

In 2015, Troop F has investigated 47 fatal crashes resulting in 51 deaths.
