TROOP F NEWS RELEASE December 17, 2015 Teenager Killed in Union Parish Crash Farmerville, LA- A teenager died yesterday after the vehicle she was in traveled off the road and impacted a tree. On December 16, 2015, Troopers assigned to Louisiana State Police Troop F responded to a one-vehicle fatality crash on North Spillway Road just north of Farmerville. The preliminary investigation revealed a 2005 GMC Sierra truck driven by 18-year-old Devin Greene of Farmerville, LA was traveling south on North Spillway Road when Greene failed to negotiate a left hand curve and the truck ran off the road. After traveling off the road, the passenger side of the vehicle struck a large tree and was severely damaged. The front seat passenger in the truck, 17-year-old Sarah Theodos of Dubach, LA, was killed on impact and pronounced dead at the scene by the Union Parish Coroner’s Office. In 2015, Troop F has investigated 48 fatal crashes resulting in 52 deaths.
