TROOP F NEWS RELEASE UPDATE March 15, 2017 Ruston Man and Woman Arrested on Additional Charges **Earlier this week Jarius Bell of Ruston, LA was rebooked on multiple charges, including: 30 counts of Bank Fraud, 1389 counts of Money Laundering, 16 counts of Fraudulent Acquisition of Credit Cards and 1 count of Computer Fraud. Kretena Hunter of Ruston, LA was arrested also on 2 counts of Money Laundering and 1 count of Criminal Conspiracy. Both individuals were booked into the Lincoln Parish Detention Center where Bell is being held on a new bond of $2,000,000 and Hunter is being held on a $500,000 bond. January 12, 2016 Ruston Man Arrested for Illegal Possession of Stolen Things Ruston, LA – Following an investigation into a complaint of a stolen vehicle, Troopers with the Louisiana State Police Insurance Fraud/Auto Theft Unit have arrested 30-year-old Jarius Bell of Ruston, LA on charges of illegal possession of stolen things. In December of 2015, Louisiana State Police was contacted by the Lincoln Parish Sheriff’s Office in reference to a stolen vehicle at 108 Abbot Street in Ruston, LA. A 2015 Chevrolet Camaro was located at the address and recovered by the Sheriff’s Office. After further investigation it was determined Bell produced fraudulent paperwork at several different locations throughout Arkansas and Louisiana to receive loans to purchase several items. -2015 Chevrolet Camaro SS -2014 Dodge Challenger -2014 Dodge Ram pickup -2015 Alfa Romeo -2015 Infiniti SUV -2015 GMC Denali pickup -2015 Lexus RCF -2015 Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle -2015 Voltage 5th wheel travel trailer The value of the above listed vehicles is over $500,000 dollars. Also arrested for illegal possession of stolen things was 36-year-old Kretena Hunter of Ruston, LA. Hunter was the girlfriend of Bell and was in possession of three of the stolen vehicles. Louisiana State Police are seeking help from the public to locate the following people and stolen property also associated with this case: -Jesse L.
