Troopers responded to the crash around 6:00 am, which occurred on US Hwy 65 near LA Hwy 3196. The crash involved a 1992 Buick Park Avenue, driven by Labrendan White (B/M 29 yrs). The Buick was south bound on US Hwy 65 when White lost control and exited the left side of the roadway. White was transported to Vidalia Police Department where he was going to be offered the Intoxilyzer (breath) test. Once at the Vidalia Police Department, White began to display physical signs of discomfort. The Trooper then transported him to Riverland Hospital where he was later pronounced dead. White was not wearing his seatbelt. Routine toxicology tests are pending. The crash remains under investigation. Concordia Parish Coroner’s Office will conduct an investigation to determine the exact cause of death.
