Edmonson, Superintendent News Release Date: August 22, 2010 Sobriety Checkpoint Results On Saturday, August 21, 2010 from 8:00 pm to 2:00 am, Louisiana State Police Troop E and Pineville Police Department conducted a sobriety checkpoint. The checkpoint was conducted in Pineville on US Hwy 71, in Rapides Parish. There were 1,216 vehicles screened. Four people were arrested for DWI. There were 12 seatbelt citations issued, one child restraint, one insurance, and 31 nonhazardous citations issued.
