| LOUISIANA STATE POLICE COURTESY LOYALTY SERVICE Colonel Michael D. Edmonson, Superintendent News Release Date: September 27, 2010 Pollock Man Killed In Crash Late this afternoon, a single vehicle crash killed a man. Troopers responded to the crash around 5:30 pm, which occurred on Crawford Loop Road near US Hwy 165, in Grant Parish. The crash involved a 2009 Ford van, driven by Adam B. Cochran (W/M 30 yrs). The Ford was south bound on Crawford Loop Road when Cochran lost control and exited the left side of the roadway. After exiting the roadway, the vehicle collided with a tree. Cochran was not wearing a seatbelt and was pronounced dead. Routine toxicology tests are pending. The crash remains under investigation. Troop E troopers have investigated 47 fatal crashes for the year of 2010, resulting in 53 fatalities.
