Edmonson, Superintendent News Release Date: December 24, 2010 Natchitoches Parish Serious Injury Crash Last night, a single vehicle crash seriously injured one man and moderately injured a woman. Troopers responded to the crash around 9:30 pm, which occurred on LA Hwy 486 near LA Hwy 480. The crash involved a 1997 Infiniti Q45, driven by Jada Michelle McGinty (W/F 25 yrs) of Alexandria, LA. The Infiniti was east bound on LA Hwy 486 when McGinty lost control and exited the right side of the roadway. After exiting the roadway, the vehicle began to overturn. McGinty was wearing her seatbelt and received moderate injuries. She was transported to LSU Medical Center in Shreveport, LA for treatment. Cody Bordelon (W/M 24 yrs) of Moreauville, LA was a passenger in McGinty’s vehicle. He was not wearing his seatbelt and received serious injuries. Bordelon was transported to LSU Medical Center. Routine toxicology tests and charges are pending. The crash remains under investigation.
