Edmonson, Superintendent News Release Date: April 3, 2011 LaSalle Parish Fatal Crash Last night, a single vehicle crash killed a Jena, LA teenager. Troopers responded to the crash around 9:45 pm, which occurred on LA Hwy 460 off US Hwy 84. The crash involved a 1995 Geo Tracker, driven by Tiffany M. White (W/F 18 yrs). The Geo was west bound on LA Hwy 460 when White lost control and exited the right side of the roadway. After exiting the roadway, the vehicle collided with a culvert and overturned. White was wearing her seatbelt, but was pronounced dead at the scene. Routine toxicology tests are pending. The crash remains under investigation. Troop E troopers have investigated fifteen fatal crashes for the year of 2011, resulting in sixteen fatalities.
