Edmonson, Superintendent News Release Date: January 31, 2011 Motorcyclist Seriously Injured In Crash Earlier today, a single vehicle crash seriously injured a man from Jonesville, LA. Troopers responded to the crash around 3:30 pm, which occurred on LA Hwy 460 near US Hwy 84, in LaSalle Parish. The crash involved a 2006 Kawasaki motorcycle, driven by Douglas W. Love (W/M 57 yrs). The Kawasaki was west bound on LA Hwy 460 when Love lost control and exited the right side of the roadway. After exiting the roadway, the motorcycle collided with an embankment. Love was transported to Rapides Regional Medical Center. Routine toxicology tests are pending. The crash remains under investigation.
