Region 2 - NEWS RELEASE November 1, 2012 Collaborated Effort Results In Six Drug Arrests Investigators from the Louisiana State Police Bureau of Investigations/Alexandria Field Office arrested six individuals today for illegally obtaining controlled dangerous substances, on numerous occasions, among other charges. These arrests spanned three different parishes. After receiving information from various sources and an intensive investigation into these illegal activities, investigators from the State Police executed several arrest warrants today. Assisting with the investigation and arrests were the LaSalle Parish Sheriff’s Office and the Avoyelles Parish Sheriff’s Office. Arrested Subjects Subject 1: Amber Norris (W/F, 32 yrs) of Jena, LA, obtaining a controlled dangerous substance (CDS) by fraud (two counts), booked in Catahoula Parish Subject 2: Davin Tellifero (W/M, 34 yrs) of Ball, LA, obtaining a controlled dangerous substance (CDS) by fraud (four counts), booked in Rapides Parish Subject 3: Morgan Burlew (W/F, 35 yrs) of Pineville, LA, obtaining a controlled dangerous substance (CDS) by fraud (four counts), insurance fraud (four counts), and criminal conspiracy (one count), booked in Rapides Parish Subject 4: Summer Humphries (W/F, 33 yrs) of Deville, LA, obtaining a controlled dangerous substance (CDS) by fraud (three counts), insurance fraud (three counts), and criminal conspiracy, booked in Rapides Parish Subject 5: Laurie Mayeux (W/F, 32 yrs) of Hessmer, LA, obtaining a controlled dangerous substance (CDS) by fraud (three counts), booked in Avoyelles Parish Subject 6: Rhonda Worley (W/F, 38 yrs) of Simmesport, LA, obtaining a controlled dangerous substance (CDS) by fraud (two counts), booked in Avoyelles Parish Contact Information: S/T Daniel “Scott” Moreau Public Information Officer Louisiana State Police – Troop E Office: (318) 769-9USA (872) scott.moreau@dps.la.gov | |||
