Pineville Man Seriously Injured In Rapides Parish Crash Earlier today, a single vehicle crash seriously injured a young man from Pineville, LA.
Troopers responded to the crash around 8:50 a.m., which occurred on LA Hwy 1205 near LA Hwy 28 East. The crash involved a 2000 GMC pickup, driven by Brandon L. Jarreau (W/M 22 yrs). The GMC was southbound on LA Hwy 1205 when Jarreau lost control and exited the left side of the roadway. After exiting the roadway, the vehicle collided with a tree.
Jarreau was not wearing a seatbelt and received serious injuries. He was transported to Rapides Regional Medical Center.
Routine toxicology tests and charges are pending. The crash remains under investigation.
Louisiana State Police would like to take this opportunity to remind/inform motorists that properly wearing your seatbelt will dramatically reduce your chance of being injured or killed in a crash. We ask you to take one second to “buckle up!”
