Unrestrained Pineville Man Seriously Injured In Crash Earlier today, a single vehicle crash seriously injured a man from Pineville, LA.
Troopers responded to the crash around 10:25 a.m., which occurred on LA Hwy 1, south of LA Hwy 490, in Natchitoches Parish. The crash involved a 2007 Chrysler 300, driven by Michael R. Moore Jr. (B/M 28 yrs). The Chrysler was northbound on LA Hwy 1 when Moore Jr. lost control and exited the left side of the roadway. After exiting the roadway, the vehicle collided with two trees.
Moore Jr. was not wearing his seatbelt and received serious injuries. He was transported to Rapides Regional Medical Center.
Routine toxicology tests are pending. The crash remains under investigation.
Louisiana State Police would like to take this opportunity to remind/inform motorists that properly wearing your seatbelt will dramatically reduce your chance of being injured or killed in a crash. We ask you to take one second to “buckle up!”
