Grayson Man Killed In LaSalle Parish Crash Earlier today, a single vehicle crash killed a man from Grayson, LA.
Troopers responded to the crash around 1:30 p.m., which occurred on Big Bend Road in LaSalle Parish. The crash involved a 2004 Kenworth, driven by Christopher W. Travis (W/M 40 yrs). The Kenworth was southbound on Big Bend Road when Travis lost control and exited the left side of the roadway. After exiting the roadway, the vehicle collided with a tree causing the cargo (logs) to shift forward and crush the cab.

Routine toxicology tests are pending. The crash remains under investigation.
Louisiana State Police would like to take this opportunity to remind/inform motorists that properly wearing your seatbelt will dramatically reduce your chance of being injured or killed in a crash. We ask you to take one second to “buckle up!”
