Investigators from the Louisiana State Police Bureau of Investigations/Alexandria Field Office arrested Burton Jason Hewitt (W/M 39 yrs) of Monterey, LA, today for video voyeurism.

Louisiana State Police received a criminal complaint from the Concordia Parish Sheriff's Office in reference to Hewitt. The criminal complaint was alleged by a sixteen year old female and it was regarding her finding numerous videos of herself fully naked, taking a bath on Hewitt’s computer.

Hewitt was booked into the Concordia Parish Detention Center and charged with video voyeurism.

Additional charges are likely. The investigation remains ongoing.

The Louisiana State Police is committed to investigating and arresting those who sexually exploit and victimize children. Operation Child Watch will continue to be a priority in order to protect our children.
