Collaborated Effort Results In Three Drug Arrests Investigators from the Louisiana State Police Bureau of Investigations/Alexandria Field Office arrested Sidney Earl Wheeler III (W/M 32 yrs), Timothy Lee Green (W/M 27 yrs), and Abigail Ann Jeffress (W/F 25 yrs), yesterday for cultivation of marijuana.
Louisiana State Police began an in-depth investigation, earlier this month, into these illegal activities at 4709 Woodlawn Drive, Ball, LA. Yesterday, investigators with State Police, Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office, Sabine Parish Sheriff’s Office, Alexandria Police Department, Louisiana National Guard Counter Drug Unit, and Pineville Police Department executed a search warrant at this residence.
Investigators located a very sophisticated indoor hydroponic marijuana grow, over 100 marijuana plants, over $18,000.00 in United States currency, over 100 hydrocodone dosage units, and approximately two pounds of high tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) marijuana. Investigators also located two hand guns, two assault rifles, and thousands of rounds of ammunition.
Wheeler III was also charged with illegal possession of a firearm, possession of schedule II controlled dangerous substance, and possession of schedule III controlled dangerous substance.
Wheeler III, Green, and Jeffress were booked into the Rapides Parish Detention Center.
