Edmonson, Superintendent News Release Date: September 9, 2008 Child Passenger Seat Checkup Event On Thursday, September 11, 2008, 10:00 am – 12:00 pm, Louisiana State Police Troop E will provide free child seat inspections. Troopers who are certified technicians will conduct the inspections. The location will be at Troop E, 1710 Odom Street, Alexandria, LA. There is no need to make an appointment. Simply bring your child safety seat, owners manual for your child seat and your vehicle, and preferably your child to the location listed above. Nine out of 10 child safety seats are not properly installed with at least two errors. This effort, by Louisiana State Police Troop E, will hopefully reduce these statistics and increase child passenger safety.
