Edmonson, Superintendent News Release Date: September 22, 2008 Child Seat Check-Up Event The Louisiana Child Passenger Safety Task Force (LPSTF) and Louisiana State Police Troop E are conducting a free child passenger safety seat check-up event on Saturday, September 27, 2008 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. The event will occur at Walker Automotive, 1616 MacArthur Drive, Alexandria, LA. A limited number of free booster seats will be provided. Nine out of 10 child passenger safety seats are installed incorrectly with at least two errors. Take a few minutes out of your day to stop by and learn how to properly install your child’s seat and how to secure your child in that seat.
