| LOUISIANA STATE POLICE COURTESY LOYALTY SERVICE News Release Date: April 20, 2008 Sobriety Checkpoint Results On Saturday, April 19, 2008, between the hours of 10:00 pm and 4:00 am, Louisiana State Police Troop E, Alexandria Police Department, and Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries conducted a sobriety checkpoint. The checkpoint was conducted on MacArthur Drive within the city limits of Alexandria. A total of 679 vehicles were screened. Eleven people were arrested for DWI. There were four child restraint citations issued and five nonhazardous citations issued.
