Edmonson, Superintendent News Release Date: June 13, 2010 Texas Man Killed In Sabine Parish Crash Yesterday morning, a single vehicle crash killed a man from Longview, TX. Troopers responded to the crash around 7:30 am, which occurred on LA Hwy 174 east of Converse, LA. The crash involved a 2010 International (18 wheeler), driven by Jadarion M. Taylor (B/M 26 yrs). The International was east bound on LA Hwy 174 when Taylor lost control and exited the right side of the roadway. After exiting the roadway, the vehicle began overturning. Taylor was not wearing his seatbelt and was ejected during the crash. He was pronounced dead on the scene. Routine toxicology tests are pending. The crash remains under investigation. Troop E Troopers have investigated 31 fatal crashes for the year of 2010, resulting in 36 fatalities.
