Edmonson, Superintendent News Release Date: May 28, 2010 Hessmer Man Arrested On Child Pornography Charges Yesterday, Louisiana State Police Criminal Investigations Division/Alexandria Field Office executed a search warrant at 1786 German Bayou Road, Hessmer, Louisiana. The search warrant was obtained in reference to child pornography being downloaded at the residence. During execution of the search warrant, investigators made contact with Tuly Guidry (W/M 40 yrs). During the interview, Guidry admitted to downloading and possessing child pornography, and child pornography was found on his personal computer. Guidry was placed under arrest for Possession of Child Pornography and booked into Avoyelles Parish Detention Center. Child Protective Services was contacted due to conditions observed inside the residence and the presence of four children, ages ranging from three to eleven. An Office of Community Services (OCS) representative responded, interviewed Guidry, his spouse and all four children, and is continuing its own investigation. The Louisiana State Police is committed to investigating and arresting those who sexually exploit and victimize children.
