Edmonson, Superintendent News Release Date: July 28, 2009 Natchitoches Resident Arrested For Possession Of Child Pornography Last week, State Police arrested another person for an atrocious crime, a crime against our children. On Wednesday, July 22, 2009, Louisiana State Police (LSP) Bureau of Investigations/Alexandria Field Office arrested Charles Jason Heck (W/M 28 yrs) of 1015 Parkway Drive, Natchitoches, LA. Investigators determined that Heck’s internet service was being utilized in this criminal activity. LSP, Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office, and Natchitoches Police Department met with Heck at his residence. During the interview and search of his residence, information was obtained which led to his arrest. Heck was arrested and charged with Possession of Child Pornography (one count) and booked into the Natchitoches Parish Detention Center with a bond of $50,000.00. The Louisiana State Police continues to investigate crimes, which involve the exploitation of our children as part of Governor Bobby Jindal’s Operation Child Watch.
