REGION 3 NEWS RELEASE August 3, 2018 Hutton Man Arrested for Possession of Pornography Involving Juveniles Vernon Parish – On Wednesday, August 1, 2018, investigators from the Louisiana State Police Bureau of Investigations Special Victims Unit/Alexandria Field Office arrested Jeffry Johnson (W/M 57 yrs) of Hutton, LA for possession of pornography involving juveniles (2,200 counts). In July 2018, the Vernon Parish Sheriff’s Office (VPSO) began an investigation involving Johnson and arrested him for crimes against nature and molestation of a juvenile. During their investigation, VPSO detectives acquired knowledge that Johnson was possibly in possession of child pornography and requested LSP’s Special Victims Unit’s (LSP SVU) assistance. As a result of LSP SVU’s investigation and information obtained, Johnson was charged and booked into the Vernon Parish Jail. No bond has been set.
