REGION 3 NEWS RELEASE July 23, 2014 Saint Maurice Resident Arrested on Drug Charges Winn Parish – On Tuesday, July 22, 2014, Louisiana State Police Bureau of Investigation/Alexandria Field Office (LSP AFO) arrested Tony Terrel Martin (B/M 32 yrs) of Saint Maurice, LA. Earlier this month, LSP AFO Narcotics Agents received information concerning Martin. After gathering additional information and conducting a thorough investigation, LSP AFO Narcotics Agents served a search warrant and arrest warrants at Martin’s resident. During the search, two firearms, methamphetamine with distribution paraphernalia, and marijuana were seized. Martin was subsequently booked into the Winn Parish Detention Center. He was charged with distribution of a controlled dangerous substance (CDS) II - methamphetamine (2 counts), possession of a controlled dangerous substance (CDS) II - methamphetamine with the intent to distribute, possession of marijuana - felony, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. LSP AFO were assisted by the Winn Parish Sheriff’s Office.
