REGION 3 NEWS RELEASE February 4, 2015 Marksville Man Arrested for Possession and Distribution of Child Pornography Marksville, LA- Yesterday, investigators from the Louisiana State Police Bureau of Investigations Special Victims Unit/Alexandria Field Office arrested Nemour Seiss (B/M 34 yrs) of Marksville for possession and distribution of child pornography. LSP’s Special Victims Unit served a search warrant at Seiss’ residence, after an investigation yielded information involving the possession and distribution of child pornography. As a result of the search warrant, a large amount of child pornography was located at his residence. LSP investigators have reason to believe that there may be local victims. Anyone that may feel they may be a victim of Seiss, or anyone with information regarding such, is asked to contact LSP investigators at 318-484-2154. Avoyelles Parish Sheriff’s Office assisted in the investigation. Seiss was booked into the Avoyelles Parish Detention Center.
