REGION 3 NEWS RELEASE April 30, 2014 Alexandria Business Owner Arrested on Multiple Drug Charges Alexandria, LA- On Monday, April 28, 2014, Louisiana State Police Bureau of Investigation/Alexandria Field Office (LSP AFO) arrested Stephen D. Holsomback (W/M 49 yrs) of Alexandria, LA. Earlier this month, LSP AFO Narcotics Agents received information concerning Holsomback. Holsomback was allegedly distributing marijuana, methamphetamine and cocaine from a Store-N-Lock facility that he owns in Alexandria. On Monday, April 28, 2014, LSP AFO served a search warrant on Holsomback’s facility and located over 10 lbs. of marijuana, over 20 oz. of methamphetamine, over 4 oz. of cocaine and over $4,000.00 in cash. Holsomback was subsequently booked into the Rapides Parish Detention Center. He was charged with distribution of marijuana, distribution of a controlled dangerous substance (CDS) II (2 counts), and possession of a controlled dangerous substance (CDS) II with the intent to distribute (2 counts). LSP AFO were assisted by the Alexandria Police Department.
