REGION 3 NEWS RELEASE September 16, 2015 Oklahoma Man Arrested on Sex Crime Charges Alexandria, LA- Yesterday, investigators from the Louisiana State Police Bureau of Investigations Special Victims Unit/Alexandria Field Office arrested Shawn L. Lindsey (W/M 43 yrs) of Mangum, OK for contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile, solicitation of prostitution, prostitution involving juveniles, and crimes against nature by solicitation. Earlier this month, LSP’s Special Victims Unit began an investigation, involving Lindsey, which centered on an online ad soliciting sex. As the investigation continued, Lindsey began asking for sex with an adult and a juvenile. He also conveyed his interest in performing several heinous sexual acts with the juvenile. As a result of the investigation and information obtained/exchanged, Lindsey was arrested in Alexandria, LA. When arrested, Lindsey had in his possession several deviant sexual items. LSP investigators have reason to believe that there may be other victims within our state and outside our state. Anyone that may feel they may be a victim of Lindsey, or anyone with information regarding such, is asked to contact LSP investigators at 318.487.5099. Lindsey was booked into the Rapides Parish Detention Center. Bond is set at $400,000.00. The investigation remains ongoing.
