REGION 3 NEWS RELEASE October 15, 2015 Pineville Man Arrested on Drug Charges Rapides Parish – Yesterday, Louisiana State Police Bureau of Investigation/Alexandria Field Office (LSP AFO) arrested Eric Tison for possession with the intent to distribute CDS II (controlled dangerous substance), possession of marijuana (felony), and possession of a firearm by convicted felon. LSP AFO was contacted by United States Postal Inspectors regarding a United States mail package containing a large amount of Methadone. The package was set to be delivered to 128 Morgan Road, Pineville, LA. Once the package was delivered, a state search warrant was executed at the residence. During the search of the residence Troopers seized the package. Some high grade marijuana and a firearm were also seized. Tison was booked into the Rapides Parish Detention Center.
