Preliminary investigation revealed a 1996 Buick Roadmaster driven by 34-year-old Donald Ray Richardson of Orange, TX was traveling north on LA 109 when the vehicle he was driving ran off the road and struck a tree. Richardson was pronounced dead at the scene by the Calcasieu Parish Coroner’s Office.
