News Release – Region 2 January 31, 2012 Crowley man arrested for having sex with a juvenile Earlier this month, detectives assigned to the Lake Charles field office of the Louisiana State Police Bureau of Investigations received a complaint via the Crowley Police Department of alleged illegal sexual activity involving 46-year-old Randal Trahan of Crowley and a juvenile female in Acadia Parish. Troopers investigated the complaint and determined Trahan engaged in sexual intercourse with the juvenile female on three separate occasions in August 2011 in Acadia Parish. An arrest warrant was obtained and today Trahan was booked into the Acadia Parish Jail for three counts of felony carnal knowledge of a juvenile. Bond was set at $50,000. If convicted, Trahan faces up to 10 years in prison and up to a $5,000 fine for each count. Contact Information: Sgt.
