TROOP D NEWS RELEASE February 3, 2014 Allen Parish Man Arrested for Possession of Child Pornography Last year, detectives with the Louisiana State Police Bureau of Investigations served a search warrant at the residence of 36-year-old Lloyd E. Moore, Jr. near the town of Elizabeth in rural Allen Parish. The search warrant was obtained as the result of an Operation Child Watch investigation into the suspected downloading of child pornography. Investigators seized computers and external hard drives for analysis. A forensic analysis of the devices revealed Moore was responsible downloading child pornography. On January 31, 2014, detectives assigned to the Louisiana State Police Bureau of Investigations arrested Moore for pornography involving juveniles and booked him into the Allen Parish Correctional Center. If convicted, Moore faces up to a $50,000 fine and from five to twenty years in prison without benefit of parole, probation, or suspension of sentence. The mission of Operation Child Watch is to rescue children from the potential abuse of child predators by targeting those individuals with sexually explicit images and/or videos on their computers.
