| REGION 2 NEWS RELEASE March 13, 2013 Vinton Residents Arrested on Drug Charges Vinton, LA- As the result of an undercover investigation conducted by Louisiana State Police Troopers, on March 12, 2013, agents with the Louisiana State Police Bureau of Investigations, Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office, and the Vinton Police Department arrested 32-year-old Terrence Budwine of Vinton for distribution of a Schedule II controlled dangerous substance (methamphetamine) at his residence. Budwine was also wanted for violation of his probation. At the time of the arrest, Budwine was in possession of a small quantity of Xanax. Budwine was also charged with possession of a Schedule IV controlled dangerous substance (Xanax) and distribution of a controlled dangerous substance in a drug free zone (near a school). While at the residence, agents encountered 20-year-old Lacy Courmier of Vinton. Courmier was arrested for possession of a Schedule IV substance (Xanax) and resisting an officer. Both subjects were booked into the Calcasieu Parish Correctional Center. Total bond on Budwine was set at $625,000. Bond on Courmier was set at $55,000. Contact Information: Sgt.
