NEWS RELEASE FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Contact: S/T Stephen LaFargue Louisiana State Police Public Affairs – Troop D (337) 491-2932- Office February 26, 2008 - Narcotics Arrest (Lake Charles,LA) On Tuesday, February 26, 2008, the Louisiana State Police Gaming Enforcement Section of the Lake Charles field office arrested Robert White Jr., 59 of Lake Charles and Wanda Gail Lacey,43 of Lake Charles for Distribution of Schedule II Drugs (Oxycotin). State Police Gaming and the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Department conducted an undercover operation which involved the purchase of Oxycontin from Robert White Jr. and Gail Lacey. Agents from the State Police Gaming Section and the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Department executed a search warrant on 2516 Ribbeck Avenue in Lake Charles. Following the search warrant, Robert White Jr. and Gail Lacey were arrested on warrants for Distribution of a Schedule II Drug. Robert White Jr. was booked into the Calcasieu parish Jail with bond set at 375,000.00.
